Andrew County Ambulance District covers 361 sq. miles of Andrew County Missouri. Established in 1988, it began operations on December 15, 1988. The District now covers a population of over 18,000 residents. The District responded to over 1400 calls in 2017.
The District has 3 Ambulances and 1 EMS Command Vehicle. There are 2 ALS Ambulances scheduled 24 hours a day to respond to the needs to the community. The District office building is in Savannah that the District operates and responds to calls from.
The District employs 5 full-time Paramedics, 2 full-time EMT’s, 2 Part-Time Billing Personnel, the Office Manager, and the Ambulance Director. The District also employs over 20 part-time Nurses, Paramedics, and EMT’s.
Andrew County Ambulance District is committed and dedicated to ensuring the best possible EMS care is provided to all residents and visitors to Andrew County.
The Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 pm at the Ambulance District. All are welcome and encouraged to come to the meetings.
