Andrew County Ambulance District covers 465 sq. miles of Andrew County Missouri. Established in 1988, it began operations on December 15, 1988. The District now covers a population of over 18,000 residents. The District responded to over 1800 calls in 2013. 

The District has 3 ambulances and 1 first response vehicle. There are 2 ALS Ambulances scheduled 24 hours a day to respond to the needs to the community.  The District office building is in Savannah that the District operates and responds to calls from.

The District employs 5 full-time Paramedics, 3 full-time EMT’s, 2 full-time Dispatchers, 3 Supervisors, the Office Manager and the Ambulance Director. The District also employs over 15 part-time Nurses, Paramedics, EMT’s and dispatchers.

Andrew County Ambulance District does its own dispatching of ambulance calls. When a 911 call comes into the sheriff’s office, they will transfer ambulance calls to the ambulance office.

The Board of Directors meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the Ambulance District.  All are welcome and encouraged to come to the meetings.  If there are any changes to the schedule they are posted on the District front door before the meeting.  You can alway call our office to find out when the next meeting is.  (816) 897-0549.
